A small speaker for a permanent install.
An installation has to sound right on the first day and stay neatly wired. The SAT 1004 is a compact passive loudspeaker of 213 x 144 x 144 mm. It weighs 2.6 kg.
Two ways to wire it
Connect its twist-lock Input to the speaker-level output of the SAT 1008 SUBA or another suitable amplifier. Thru passes the signal on to another SAT 1004, and only two may be connected together. For more permanent installations, the barrier strip is an alternative to the twist-lock inputs. Impedance is 8 Ω.
Where the sound goes
Nominal dispersion is 140° horizontal by 100° vertical. A passive crossover splits the signal between an HF and an LF driver. Frequency response is 110 Hz to 20 kHz at -3 dB.
Made from MDF and steel
The cabinet is 12 mm MDF in black texture paint, behind a powder-coated steel grille.
