Give the low end a box of its own.
The kick drum and the bass line need weight that your powered speakers cannot carry alone. Add this subwoofer, and its built-in crossover splits the job. The subwoofer handles the low range, and your speakers play above 100 Hz.
Connect it between mixer and speakers
Two XLR inputs take line-level signals from a mixer or preamplifier. RCA inputs are there too: use XLR or RCA, not both. OUTPUT A/B sends your powered speakers the signal with the range below 100 Hz attenuated. THRU A/B passes a direct copy on, for example to another powered subwoofer.

Tune the bass to the room
HIGH CUT sets the upper limit of the subwoofer from 70 Hz to 150 Hz. A BOOST switch with its own frequency knob adds weight in the low range. PHASE switches between 0 and 180 degrees. Choose by ear: it depends on where it stands, near a wall or in a corner.

Power with protection
The amplifier gives 1000 W peak and 350 W RMS. If the LIMIT LED comes on, turn the input down to avoid distortion. Protection covers short circuit, open circuit and thermal faults. Handles help you move its 37.30 kg into position.
