Your first episode needs a voice, a computer and very little else. C-1U connects over USB, and the same connection powers the microphone. Your operating system installs the required drivers. Select C-1U as the input in your audio software and it is ready.
Aimed at the voice in front of it
The capsule has a cardioid pickup pattern. It is ideal for recording speech, vocals and individual instruments. Frequency response runs from 40 Hz to 20 kHz, and maximum SPL is 136 dB.
Clear before you reach for EQ
The frequency response is extremely linear. So there is no need for high-frequency EQ, which can heavily change the signal and add noise.
From mic stand to suspension mount
The adapter fits mic stands with metric or imperial threads. Or detach the C-1U and fit it to a commercially available suspension mount. Connection is by the included USB cable with a type B connector, and the microphone weighs 0.53 kg.
