The band, the service and the monitor mix.
On a Sunday in a small church, or at a band’s first gig, one mixer carries everything. Voices and instruments go to the main speakers, and a separate mix goes to the stage monitors. The QX2222USB brings eight XENYX mic preamps to that job.
Gain and tone on every mono channel
Each mono channel has an XLR mic input, with switchable +48 V phantom power, and a balanced line input. Turn COMP clockwise for more compression. A 3-band EQ with a semi-parametric mid cuts or boosts up to 15 dB. A 75 Hz LOW CUT removes unwanted low frequencies.

Levels a volunteer can set
Press a channel SOLO button and set MODE to PFL. Sing or play, and turn GAIN until the loudest peaks reach 0 on the VU METER. Repeat for each channel you use.

A mix for the stage
There are three aux sends. On the QX2222USB, aux send 1 is wired pre-fader and called MON. Turn up a channel FX knob to send it to the Klark Teknik multi-FX processor. Then turn PROGRAM to choose a preset and press it to select.
Wireless mics and a computer
A USB wireless input accepts a receiver for Behringer ULM wireless microphones, two at a time. USB audio carries stereo in and out at 16-bit, 48 kHz. Press USB/2-TR TO MAIN to play the computer through the main mix.
