One signal, eight outputs, each at its own level.
A restaurant rarely wants the same volume in every corner. The DS2800 takes your audio source and sends copies of it to its eight outputs. Every output has a dedicated LEVEL control on the front panel.
Two ways to split
With the MODE switch out, the DS2800 runs as 1-in/8-out and only INPUT A is active. Press it in for 2-in/4-out: INPUT A feeds outputs 1 to 4 and INPUT B feeds outputs 5 to 8. That mode suits a studio with several pairs of monitors. MODE LEDs show which setting is in use.

Set each zone, then keep an eye on it
Each LEVEL knob runs from -∞ to +15 dB, and meter LEDs show the level of every output. If a CLIP LED lights continuously, turn that LEVEL knob anticlockwise. LINK A and B send exact copies of the inputs, at a fixed level, to equipment further down the chain.

Built for the rack
Rack ears mount the DS2800 in a standard 1U space. All inputs, outputs and links are balanced XLR. The included IEC cable connects it to mains power.
