X18

18-channel digital mixer for tablets with 16 Midas preamps, built-in Wi-Fi and an 18 x 18 USB audio interface

Where to buy X18 (0605-AAA)

Mix from a tablet, keep every track.

Rehearsal, Tuesday night. Halfway through the new song, the bridge finally works and the harmony lands. With the X18 in the room, you mix from a tablet and record every channel as it happens. Tomorrow, every separate track from the take is ready to mix again.

Every channel on its own track

Sixteen Midas-designed preamps take microphones and line sources. Inputs 1 and 2 have high-impedance preamps for guitar and bass. The 18 x 18 USB audio and MIDI interface records up to 18 channels at once and plays 18 back. Mix the take later on your computer, when the room is quiet.

Hear the take through dedicated monitor outputs

Unlike the XR18, the X18 has RCA outputs for a pair of active studio monitors. The control room button sends them the main mix or your headphone and solo signal. The RCA inputs bring in an MP3 player, an iPad or another mixer.

A balance for every player

With no router, the integrated Wi-Fi module connects up to four tablets or computers directly. Six aux sends feed stage monitors or headphone mixers. Add optional P16-M personal mixers over Ultranet, and musicians set their own balance.
