Turn a knob, hear the pattern change.
A row of knobs where every knob is a note is a direct way to write music. On BQ-10, you set each step's voltage, press START/STOP and the internal clock plays the pattern. With the clock stopped, press STEP to walk through it one step at a time.
Three rows, many ways to run them
Channels A, B and C each have STEPS controls and their own voltage output. SEQUENCE MODE runs three separate sequences, chains A into B, alternates them or plays random steps. PORTAMENTO A and B add glide between steps.
Talk to Hz/volt and octave/volt gear
Set each channel to 1 V, 2 V, 5 V or 8 V; 8 V is ideal for Hz/volt operation. The Log Amp converts Hz/volt to octave/volt, and the Antilog Amp converts back. Two trigger processors turn v-triggers into s-triggers and back.
Clock it, MIDI it, rack it
The internal clock runs from 20 bpm to 500 bpm. You can also sync to USB MIDI, DIN MIDI or an external trigger. MIDI OUT plays external MIDI equipment from channels A and B. BQ-10 can also move into a Eurorack case, not supplied. The guide recommends an experienced service technician for that step.
