TD-3-MO-AM

Modded-out analogue bass line synthesiser with a sub oscillator, VCO, MIDI-controllable VCF and 16-step sequencer

Where to buy TD-3-MO-AM (0718-ACF)

Every accent, slide and sweep has its own control.

The bass line works, but one accent could make the room answer. Shape its bite, sweep and slide by hand. How hard should the accent bite? How slowly should one note slide into the next? On TD-3-MO, each answer has a knob of its own.

Accents that bite, slides that linger

Give accented notes their own decay time, separate from the rest. Soften the attack of the unaccented notes. Accent sweep sets how much resonance an accent adds, or switches it off. Slide time sets how slowly one note glides into the next.

More weight from one oscillator

Add the sub oscillator at a low, medium or high level under the reverse sawtooth or pulse. Overdrive feeds more of the VCO into the filter. Filter FM lets the audio output move the cutoff. When resonance gets extreme, the muffler smooths away some of the highs.

Patterns, modular and MIDI

Enter notes on the 13-note keyboard, then tap in the timing. Write patterns of up to 16 steps and select from 7 tracks. The 3.5 mm patch bay takes CV, gate, accent and slide from modular gear. Its CV, gate and accent outputs can play a second TD-3-MO. MIDI and USB connect the rest.
