Set every step by hand, with a knob for each.
Some sequences are better dialled in than programmed. The 1027 has 24 knobs, from 0 V to 10 V. Use them to set the control voltage for each step.
Three voltages from one sequence
Each column sends its control voltages through its own CH A, CH B or CH C output jack. Each STEP LED lights when its sequencer step is active. Each POSITION GATES jack sends a gate signal for its own step.

Set the pace
RATE sets the step speed. The LOW/HIGH switch picks the range: 0.3 Hz to 15 Hz, or 10 Hz to 400 Hz. CLK OUT sends a gate pulse each time the sequencer steps. Pulse width runs from 5% to 95%, useful for triggering envelope generators.

Drive it from the patch
ON, OFF, STEP and RESET jacks take external trigger signals. RATE and WIDTH jacks accept control voltages. The 8 gate signals also leave through a 12-pin GATE OUT LINK connector on the underside. It takes 32 HP and draws 70 mA at +12 V and 30 mA at -12 V.
