One night a bass line, the next night chords.
One song needs a heavy bass line, the next needs soft chords. There is room for one keyboard on the stand, and it has to do both. POLY D switches between monophonic, unison and polyphonic modes. Its 37 semi-weighted, full-size keys play a single line or chords of up to four voices.
Four oscillators, one ladder filter
Give each oscillator its own wave shape. Blend in white or pink noise, or an outside line-level source. The ladder filter works as low-pass or high-pass, with emphasis lifting the level at the cutoff. The BBD stereo chorus adds space, with two settings that work alone or together. Distortion has its own tone and level.

A pattern to carry the song
The 32-step sequencer stores 8 patterns in each of 8 banks, with ratchets, accents and swing. The arpeggiator turns held keys into movement. Glide lets one note slide into the next. One keyboard on the stand now covers the whole set.

Your keyboard for the rest of the rig
Pitch, velocity, after pressure and trigger outputs let the 37 keys play other analogue gear. Sync in follows an external clock, and sync out sends the internal one. MIDI connects other gear, and class-compliant USB connects a computer.
